“Marketing is food not medicine.” Peter Drucker (management consultant, educator and author, 1909-2005)
Our Director, Zoe Howard, is a passionate and creative marketing expert with 20 years experience in many fields including health, media, education, small business and government including brand communications, campaign management, publications, websites, social media and public relations including crisis PR.
Zoe says: "I established Caxton in 2015 because I know there are many businesses and organisations who are in need of marketing support that don’t know where to begin and in the current financial climate can’t afford the risk of employing in-house expertise."
We work by getting to know you, your staff and customers and offering you a tailored service to meet your needs, guiding you like one of your own senior team but with the benefit of fresh eyes. That could be a little extra help on a regular basis or a one-off project. Trust is a vital ingredient in this process because experience shows that, when we go to work, things begin to change.
If, like many of our clients, you know that marketing is one of those jobs you just can't do alone, we are here to be your trusted partner. Like you, we are looking for bottom line benefits for your business: avoiding wasted effort and cost and boosting your presence in your target markets to win you more of the business you really want.
And we don't come in like a whirlwind and then leave you to it. All our clients can access one-to-one expert coaching offered by Zoe (a qualified coach and mentor) which increases the value add of the strategic work we do upfront and prolongs the support you get from Caxton, boosting your confidence in implementing new ideas.
Based in Cornwall and passionate about supporting Cornish businesses and organisations, we work flexibly and adapt our approach to you which means we work all over the south west and sometimes further afield.
You can see our work in services.
